Auxiliary Fan Drive

An auxiliary hydraulic fan drive system is characterized by it's use of the system pump for another function in addition to the fan drive.  Whether the auxiliary circuit is a work function, steering, or brakes the fan flow can be diverted to these machine needs by a priority flow valve or a selector valve.  The use of an auxiliary hydraulic system saves power for applied work, fuel savings, or both. This becomes increasingly important as regulations require engines to run hotter. Turolla OpenCircuitGear offers priority flow and loadsense valve options in the D Series Pumps.
